The core concepts that are involved in data sharing are Users, Groups, and Studies.

• Users are accounts that can log into the Enable platform.
• Groups are ways to organize Users. A User can belong to many Groups.
• Studies are ways to organize analysis and data. A Study can belong to many Groups. If a Study belongs to a Group, all Users in the Group have access to the Study.

A Group has 2 permission levels for the Studies they have access to:

• Spectator: all Users in the Group can only view the data and analyses, but they can’t make any modifications or run new analyses.
• Editor: all Users in the Group have full access to the data and analyses.

Once a Group is created, Group Admins can invite new users to the Group in order to share data and results. These users will receive an email that will allow them to register new accounts that will be added to the Group.
